Personally, I experience such joy watching the MF seedlings grow. I guess Forgetti and its hybrids, or any anthurium with the possibility of fused sinus, are exciting to grow because each new leaf can come out different from the last.
This batch of MF seedlings is also the first time the original mother plant was self-ed. There were questions/doubts as to whether the offsprings would come out looking like the parent, with the iconic penta-venation, or they would just be like your regular Forgetti.
Thankfully, the seedlings all came out great. It is definitely heartening to get the confirmation that the Mind Flayer is truly a one-of-a-kind, genetically-unique Forgetti mutant.
Of course, I love watching the other seedlings too. Another cross that's bringing me joy is 'The Mask' x PapDocBlock. The emergents are coming out redder and redder! Exciting stuff indeed.
