Papillilaminum x Doc Block

Our Papillilaminum x Doc Block mother plant is one of the more fun plants in our collection that we get to "fool around" with. Through our many rounds of breeding using this plant, we found that both the Papillilaminum & the Doc Block genes are very "strong," and they tend to compete with each other in phenotypic expression. Self-ing of this plant produces offsprings that show great variations in shape, color and venation; some seedlings are more Pap-like while some are more Doc Block-like.

Nevertheless, this plant is one of our OG mother plants, meaning it is one of the bigger & more established plants around. Whether is it a new emergent or a hardened leaf, this plant is proof that you can have the best of both worlds indeed!
